The Year of the LORD's Favor

1 The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me,
because the LORD has anointed me
to preach good news to the poor.
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim freedom for the captives
and release from darkness for the prisoners, [a]
2 to proclaim the year of the LORD's favor
and the day of vengeance of our God,
to comfort all who mourn,

3 and provide for those who grieve in Zion—
to bestow on them a crown of beauty
instead of ashes,
the oil of gladness
instead of mourning,
and a garment of praise
instead of a spirit of despair.
They will be called oaks of righteousness,
a planting of the LORD
for the display of his splendor.

4 They will rebuild the ancient ruins
and restore the places long devastated;
they will renew the ruined cities
that have been devastated for generations.

Living Sacrifices

so i decided to put up verses that have been really touching me throughout my time hear...

1Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual[a] act of worship. 2Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

NIKO

Niko means to overcome. This was a week that I can´t share a lot about but that it was very challenging emotionally, spiritually, and physically. I was stretched in all areas.

One thing that I learned through a tangible experience is that even though God might call us to a path that it seems as though there are too many obstacles, He provides a way overcome it.

God asked me if He could do something, and I responded,¨only if it is going to bring glory to your name.´ Soonafter, something of mine broke, where I had to rely on others, and essentially walk by faith.

Outreach.....

It sounds as though we are going to Leticia, Colombia, a place in the Amazon. From there we might be able to also go to Peru and Brazil, depending on the cost. (be praying about finances for everyone as it seems as though the cost might be more than we originally thought)
